When I saw the show last week, there were tons of empty seats in the orchestra, including whole rows in the rear and side. I imagine you could pretty much walk up at any time and get a rush ticket.
I bought a ticket months ago for a seat in the balcony. However, I would really love to see the show from the orchestra. Is it a good idea to try to get a refund from the box office and rush the show the day I'm seeing it??? (I am going in July)
To be very honest, you could probably just move to the orchestra and no one would bat an eye. They were offering orchestra seats to people in the mezzanine, and I overheard someone say that they might close the mezzanine the next day because there weren't enough tickets sold. Unless something drastic changes, I think you'll be fine.
Yup, at the performance I attended, they moved a bunch of people down to the orchestra from the mezzanine pre-curtain. And the orchestra still wasn't even close to full.
