I am late to the party with Black Mirror. For those that have seen it is it worth watching and if so should I start with season 1?

I find Black Mirror to present genuinely life changing ideas that can shock you and challenge your thinking in a way that is unusual to see in any medium these days, I HIGHLY recommend. Each episode is like a mini TV movie with almost no relationship between other episodes (except occasional easter eggs), so you don't actually need to start from Season 1 and in fact I would not recommend it. You will also see that the production quality has changed over time as budget has increased.

I would personally watch in this order:

* Season 3
* Season 4
* Season 2
* Season 1
* The TV special Bandersnatch

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
