Oh my...this is turning into an interesting race.  Senator Bernie Sanders & Senator Kamala Harris lead the fund-raising race so far, but, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is quickly gaining mind-share & media buzz.  I'd even go far as to suggest that Mayor Peter has emerged as the Dem's much-needed celebrity candidate eclipsing Beto O'Rourke in the all-important Breck Shampoo Model sweepstakes, and chipping away at Uncle Joe's armor.  That leaves Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Cory Booker in the middle of the pack with a bunch of others bringing up the rear.

The stars don't seem to be aligning in favor of my personal fave, Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio.  Unless he gains traction soon, he's looking at a VP nod at best or perhaps a shot at the OH governor's mansion down the road.  The last Democractic governor of Ohio was one-termer Ted Strickland...memba' him...didn't think so.

So, please decide carefully Dems so that the rest of us can then decide, if you know what I mean.

Were a white male to gain the nomination for President (a strong likelihood at present), it would flabbergast me to have that man reach out to another white male for Veep. At that point, Kamala, Corey, Amy or even Stacey Abrams should keep their cell-phones nearby.

Is it me or does it seem like half the Dems in the US Senate are seeking the party nomination?

I mean, really...you've got Bernie, Elizabeth, Kamala, Amy, Cory, and Kirsten.

Fortunately, the one person who wants to be potus more than he desires air, food, water, and human contact is still in wait-and-see mode, that is former VA governor and longtime Clintonite Terry McAuliffe .  For the love of all that is holy, please let him remain on the sidelines.  His stepping into the fold would quickly turn what already promises to be a brokered convention into a veritable Game of Thrones.  Where McAuliffe goes money follows!
