Hello everyone! I need some help finding a one act play for our competition next year. It needs to be female heavy and serious/dramatic and around 35 minutes. Any suggestions? thank you!
I did a piece last year that was pretty wonderful.....The Dark Road. It examines the all female concentration camp and how one goes down that path to be "indoctrinated". Also try At the Bottom of Lake Missoula.
What sources have you looked at? Both Playscripts and TheatreFolk allows you to search by cast req and topic/genre. LOTS of one acts. (Some are crap, some are great.) You can read most of the script on line, too.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
^ can you tell me a little about this? (I'm always looking for new script ideas!)
