I know there was that short from the 80s, but that does not count.

What I'm picturing for the film is the animated film that places with visuals and lighting, and is about experiencing these moments with cool visuals than being a narrative.

They would use symbolic imaginary.

for instances with the song"Book Report"

Schroeder's describing Robin Hood it visually shows what Robin Hood is doing in the syle of a Hanna Barbera cartoon. then it quickly cuts to Lucy and it's peter rabbit and it's in a crudely drawn like a children's drawing, then with charlie brown, it shows him pacing has a darker colour pallet and is animated in a way that it looks claustrophobic .

I think this is one musical that would work so well in animation if they were creative and experimental

There is a 1973 Hallmark Hall of Fame live action version that starred the late Wendell Burton as Charlie Brown and Barry Livingston (from "My Three Sons"I wonder why their is no animated flim version of as Linus.  A soundtrack album was recorded, but is out of print.  In 1985, CBS-TV made an animated version of the show with some songs deleted from the program.  It is available on DVD.

There is this one which I've seen before.  Is this the short you are talking about because I remember it being fairly long with majority of the songs.

I could be wrong, but I believe the animated version just doesn't include the two songs that were added to the revival, since it was made in 1973 and the Broadway revival wasn't until 1999,
