So pleased to see War Horse coming back to the National - I'm looking forward to doing a return trip, and encouraging friends who haven't caught it yet!

Will you be heading back? Any special memories of seeing the show?

I'm hopefully seeing it on tour later this year. I love it, guaranteed to make me cry!

It is a truly excellent show.

The moment Joey turns from foal to horse is surely one the iconic moments in modern British theatre.

It helps as well that it's a wonderful gateway show for young people- every time I've been it's been buzzing with school groups.

The actor playing the German Captain is German and terrific in the part. Peter Becker is his name.

This show was perfect at the National and the New London Theatre, I’ll definitely be seeing it again.
I need to erase the awful memories of seeing it on tour, where it lost most of its heart and emotional connection.

You do realise that the production which will run at The National is the current tour? I have seen both tours and thought them excellent, with heart and emotional connection.

I'm looking forward to seeing this again and must get tickets soon as it looks as if they are selling fast.  I wouldn't be surprised if this production became involved in some of the commemorations of the centenary of the end of WW1.

I was bad enough watching this first time around, so dread to think how I'll be if I see it too close to actual Remembrance Day.

Just got back from London last night and had great time. My family saw "War Horse" last Tuesday and thought it was moving and fantastic. BTW - I was quite surprised to see the amount of fairly young children at this show due to content and theatrics of the show.

Saw this last night and while I thought the production was fantastic and obviously the puppetry is amazing, I really didn't like the actual play itself that much.
