Surprised Princeton, you do not have more info, your the man on the pulse, so if you don't know, no one else will, Baz will have something in the morning.
I think this one will be a London gig, as the producers have paid a lot of money for a double page spread in The Evening Standard (London paper), so for the producers to pay that much money for a advert with no real info on it, a announcement has to be imminent.
The only London houses, I could see this going into would be the Prince Edward,Piccadilly or maybe Sadler Wells? But I do not see this going into a theatre as the houses I mention, do not look like they are going to give up on there tenants, I have a hunch they probably do a spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall or 02? Yes, Phantom I am indeed a big Jim Steinman fan - love his music and his lyrics. If were to write a musical with a new score, I'd be delighted. But yet another Juke Box show (even with the fantastic songs from Bat Out Of Hell), I can do without.

Remember Bob, saying on the Whistle Down the Wind thread, how much you love Jim Steinman, take it being a regular New York visitor, ou might of seen Dance with the Vampires?
I agree with you on jukebox/tribute musicals, too many of them around and they have been one to death, currently 5 playing London at the moment, 13 original musicals playing!
Phantom - afraid I didn't get to see DOTV. It was back when I still had a dog and didn't get away as frequently as I do now - and the show didn't last too long LOL

Just heard they want the Shaftesbury for a Summer opening...I thought Hairspray had more life in it...The only other theatre this could work in is the Dominion.

The show wants a sit down production in the West End. Its been mooting around for about a year - but its been very quite on any front since about 9 months ago. I had no idea things had progressed.
Well, 8 years later, Bat Out of Hell did hit the stage. Some enthusiastic responses - but the West End sit down at the Dominion is coming to a close after less than a year. Closing 5 January 2019. I had a blast and hope to see the US tour.
They are advertising it as "End of Season". Isthere a chance they bring it back in 2019 in another theater? Anyone have any idea what is moving into the Dominion?
I know there were issues with the US tour, but perhaps they will still tour later in 2019 with the original cast. It seems they have a block of dates in NY Summer of 2019.
