Oh, Dof dear, I realize whatever I write you'll find fault, but regardless, can you honestly tell me why you feel it's acceptable for someone who seems capable of doing something for themself, but doesn't, and instead waits and relies on someone else to do for them. Why is that acceptable behavior?

What man would give a child a stone when he ask for bread? Perhaps a man who realizes not all of a child's nourishment comes from a food source. A man who realizes a child's development isn't fostered by placating their every request. Or a man who realizes a child lacks the sensibility to realize what is in their best interest. A man who realizes that children lack self control and would eat an entire load unless boundaries are set.

berndadette88.....that is a fantastic idea....bernadette as mame....and once she has done that....we can remake every other big lady show and she can be in all of them....i personally have always loved the cupie doll reading of mrs lovett or the sweetie pie stylings of fosca....and i also belive she is in talks to do a remake of the king and i...she will be playing the king....they are just trying to get her to shave her head first....cause lets face it...there are NO other ladies who can play roles {female or male} any more...thank god for bernie!

I'd love to see Bernie as Fosca, then again if she would shave her head.....hmmmm it's a puzzlement.

This is the rumor that won't ever go away.  These Cher rumors have been going on since the mid 90's, over 25 years ago.  What part of this is never going to happen is confusing?

It was once more than a rumor.   She talked about it herself when she was in the Oprah show years ago.  You can look it up.

This thread was a buried treasure!  Things were very different back in 2003 (when most of the current posters weren't even born!)

I find it fascinating to be able to look back at projects that were being speculated on but that never came to pass! (I'd forgotten how much I liked etoile)
