also thanks for this code. It still works. The code play1 no longer does.

How do you use the code on Ticketmaster? The offer box doesn't seem to show up.

EDIT: Figured it out - was trying performances the code wasn't valid for.

Anyone have any experience with row C in the orchestra? I have right orchestra row C tickets seats 6 & 8 and now I'm kinda thinking they're too close. Not that there are too many other options left besides extreme sides.

We sat Orch row C. If you are bothered by smoke/ fog, I would sit a row or two behind row C. Also, If you are shorter than say, 5'6", you might also want to avoid row C, since the stage is pretty high.

Is it worth $50 more to sit I Orch row M in center opposed to row C in Mezz center?

Prices got raised sharply after the opening, although there are some odd anomalies at the moment. I glanced at the days when I'm going next month. Premium center orchestra seats on weekdays are $209, while the Mezzanine Row C is $20 more at $229. Row G in the Mezzanine is $149.

While I'm not surprised the prices went up, and I'm glad I got tickets a couple of weeks ago, I'm surprised at how much they went up, from $50 to $70. The reviews were good, but not spectacular, for a show that isn't exactly a household name. How long did it take Hamilton to get to these prices?

Hmmm not sure what $50 is to you vs feelings either way re mezz or orchestra.

I can tell you that this is a small great theater and views are excellent in either place - however - I am one who strongly prefers eye level/closer proximity. So I am always  biased towards orchestra.

That said, there is staging/ choreography / set design that some may argue is best viewed/appreciated  from above. Ideal is the way I've done it: see it twice, from each point of view (hahaha just kidding).

Just received an email from TodayTix that my purchased tickets for mid-May are now cancelled and refunded due to “selling out” of seats under that price level (despite plenty of seats being available for my performance). They’re really pushing for the increased ticket prices!

NYTW and Songbird discount codes still work on some performances through 5/9.

Is this real? How can that be? When did you purchase the tickets?

I was under the impression TodayTix already had the tickets they sell with them and their system was always accurate on displaying how many tickets they have left. I find it weird for them to sell a ticket and then cancel it afterwards saying it’s because it’s “selling out”. If that’s the case I wouldn’t trust TodayTix for any future purchase, just seems unreliable.

Bought the tickets yesterday after noticing that all the seats via Ticketmaster had increased to the $249-$299 range, yet TodayTix still had seats priced at $159 for the “side mezzanine”. Got a confirmation email for the tickets yesterday, and received the following email today at 12:41pm

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for using TodayTix. We are writing you in regards to your recent order. We regret to inform you that this performance unexpectedly sold out of availability in your desired section and price point. We have both cancelled your order and voided the authorization on your credit card.

Please check the TodayTix app or website for updated availability. We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to welcoming you to the theater soon. Please don’t hesitate to contact our Guest Services team by replying here, should you have any questions or need assistance in purchasing for another performance.

Sincerely,
TodayTix Guest Services

For majority of their sales, TodayTix doesn't have tickets "in stock." For the most part, they send a runner to the box office to buy your tickets after you've placed an order.

TodayTix was slow in updating their prices after the ticket prices went up.  They got your order, realized they couldn't purchase the tickets for it, so then they cancelled and refunded your order.

Interesting. The last three rows of the orchestra, center to side starting in Row Q, are $159 on weekdays in May. (That's a drop of $50 from late last night, at least for rear center orchestra.)  That's what I paid before the big ticket price boost - in Row Q center.

So if you're looking for less outrageously priced tickets, they exist - for now.

I'm not sure if the producers are playing this right, or if they raised prices too much before the show even has Tony nominations to brag about. But if they are wrong, they won't hesitate to drop the prices.

I impulsively decided on Monday to take a trip to NYC this August, and this show was at the top of my list. Bought a super cheap plane ticket, and an hour later bought an aisle seat for Mezz Row E for 129. Now that seat is listed at 209. Glad I hit purchase when I did!

I have seats in Orchestra Row C (right), and I'm kind of short. Do you know if the theater has booster seats?

I'm a little ticked off right now, and wondering if someone can shed some light on the general rules that govern when a seat is labeled "partial view."

I needed to buy a last minute ticket for someone for tonight's performance.  Given the general scarcity and last minute nature, I wasn't as careful as I usually am.  I just grabbed a seat on Stubhub.  It was Orchestra F 16 (last seat on the right).  I was texting with her after she arrived and she was concerned she might miss stuff on the right side.  As am I.  I said, "Well, can you see the staircase leading to the door on the right side?"  She could not.  I was in the mezz when I saw it a few days ago, but I'm pretty sure she's going to miss any time Orpheus is on those stairs, including the final scene!  How is that not labeled as partial view??  What exactly are the standards, if there are any?

Interested to hear how that was. I saw it in balcony couple of weeks ago which was fine, and bought tickets for my parents to go this Sunday when they are in town. They wanted orchestra so I got extreme side, row M on the right side. Nowhere did it say anything about partial view and when I bought these tickets they were higher priced than mezzanine and orchestra seats. Would be very misleading if paying that much more for a non full view.

With Ticketmaster, I think the only standard is they take your money and they give you what they want, DWWST12.

I sat left orchestra E1 (aisle) tonight. Great seat, tho some scenes were blocked by one actor standing in front of another. Best seats center orchestra. I can't speak to Mezz or Balcony as I don't see well and never sit up there.  The boxes are probably good too. I sat in those for Springsteen, actually in his box left side facing stage. Clear shot of stage though you will miss the band members on left side of stage.

I saw the show for the third time tonight. I’ll only sit in the mezz for the one as I know I’d miss some great moments down in the orchestra.

For anyone interested, the audience rewards selections for HadesTown are fantastic. We were planning to see the Wednesday matinee of Waitress, but Shoshana is out and we were able to get a refund. So we are going to see HadesTown. However, I didn't want to drop $250 per ticket, so I went to audience rewards. We were able to get two orchestra tickets for $72.50 each. The seats are in N5 and N7, which I hear is a pretty fantastic view. So stoked to see this!

Schedule:

Tuesday | The Ferryman

Wednesday | HadesTown and Aladdin

Thursday | To Kill a Mockingbird

Friday | Tootsie

Saturday | Prom and Network

Row L of the Orch, middle section of the house left quadrant. Yhe only thing i coildnt see was one of the string players. We loved our seats....and usually Mezz is my favorite place. (Maybe next time)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

In case anyone is interested, these seats turned out to be great for us. Didn’t miss anything on far sides and had a great view.

The leg space in the first row of the front mezzanine was brutal for me.
