So, for about two weeks I had been eyeballing tickets for my July trip, but not really wanting to pay the $265 for both parts in a balcony seat. I stumbled back to the Harry Potter website late last night and the exact same seats were now reduced by nearly 50%. Whaaaat? I don’t know why that happened, but I bought them as quickly as I could grab my credit card, and now have front row balcony seats at the total cost (for both parts) at the seemingly really good price of $161 including all taxes. It was only $69.50 per part plus fees. For July! Very excited!!! I also bought a window card, now available in very limited supplies, at the Triton Gallery website. Psyched!!!

Yes, we do sell windowcards. They are not sold online, due to shipping concerns, but they are available at the theatre for purchase. They are the standard windowcard size of all other Broadway show posters. They are $20. We look forward to seeing you at the show and we're glad you are choosing to celebrate your birthday here at Hogwarts. Wizzo!

I’m very excited about this. Since riding the bus back would be iffy on the window card, I ordered it already from Triton Gallery, and my tickets Will Call instead of digital (on the phone). Want some kind of hard-copy souvenir and hoping the paper tickets are nice. There’s a souvenir ticket box on their store site I’m going to order, as well as hit up the actual store when I’m there. My poor credit card.

the paper tickets you pick up at will call are just like any other ticket from other shows. They don't have any fancy logos or anything.
Still - I also always get the hard copy tickets because I like to save them.

Anyone here ever use the Will Call window? I just wanted to verify that I can pick up my Will Call tickets up to 72hrs in advance of the show. According to the Lyric Theatre website:
LYRIC THEATRE BOX OFFICE
The main Lyric Theatre Box Office is located at 214 West 43rd Street.
Box Office Hours are: Monday – Sunday: 10am – 8pm
Will Call tickets are held at our 43nd Street Box Office. Tickets may be picked up 72 hours prior to the performance date during the Box Office’s regular business hours.

Yes, I've picked mine up at Will Call both times. When I was seeing the Thurs/Fri combo, I went and picked them up early afternoon on Thursday. When I saw the full day Sunday, I picked them up on Friday afternoon.

Very cool, thank you! This will save me some time getting them Saturday late-afternoon instead of rushing down from The Guggenheim on Sunday.

Beat me to the answer, but yes. I had Tix to a Sunday show and I've picked mine up sat afternoon. You'll be good :)

I’m seeing the new cast next week and am glad they have the traditional size window cards at the in person cursed child store. When I went last year, it was the first week after opening and they only had posters in tubes and in odd sizes that would be difficult to find frames for. They were very convenient for those of us with suitcases however.

However, it looks like they need to bought separate from any other items, which I get, I’m sure they don’t want them getting damaged in shipment, being as fragile as they are. Spread the word, I bet a lot of ppl not local to NYC would love to know they can now buy one online,

Not quite. The "book" you refer is simply the published script for the play. There are two versions: the rehearsal script and the post-London-opening script.

Info from the movies/books is more than enough! Id go in as blind as possible to be honest. While I found the plot a little more interesting than most, the characters and the spectacle are what to see here. Id go in fresh, hope you enjoy!!!

Im sure youll have an amazing time! I waited impatiently for over a year for this show, and my expectations were met and exceeded. Im sure youll have a wonderful time. What other shows are you catching?

Lots of great musicals and plays to choose from! Just about everything and anything for anyone to find something to like. For those like me with less discerning taste lol the options are bountiful. Too little time and money, too many choices.

Just wondering, isThe Music of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts One and Two in Four Contemporary Suites by Imogene Heap the equivalent of an OBCR? Is this the music played during the actual show?

It is played during the show yes. It's all instrumental and it's beautiful

Sounds wonderful! Thank you! I stumbled across it on Napster and was going to download it and start listening, but I wanted to make sure first....
85 days and counting. Sooooo looking forward to this one. I’m watching the final three movies this weekend and will start listening to the music beginning Monday while at work.
