"Tired of all the Bernie bashing.

Him being blamed for Clinton's loss to Trump.
Debra Messing comparing him to Judas.
People falsely saying he didn't work hard to get Clinton elected or that he wrongly stayed in the race too long (forgetting how long Clinton stayed in the 2008 race).
People falsely claiming Sanders supporters abandoned the Democrats (when so many of us, Bernie included, worked tirelessly to try to get Clinton elected... and forgetting all the Clinton primary supporters (Joe Lieberman included) who defected to McCain)"

Funny how people overlook or don't care that Debbie Wasserman Schultz screwed Bernie.

"All of which are wrong.

The reason Clinton lost is because of the failures of America is the ignorance and stupidity of Americans.  The failure of our country to educate our children and to teach them how to think rather than worship at the altar of base celebrity, arrogance, bluster, greed and perceived wealth and utter disrespectability that Donald Trump embodies."

Wow. So if the American people do not vote a Democrat into the White House they are stupid -lol. She lost because she sucked as a candidate. My goodness, she had 84 electoral votes in the bag (NY & California) before the polls even opened. Somebody like Joe Biden would have wiped the floor with Trump and won in a landslide.

Nice re-direct.  The American people voted Trump and that's what the response was to.  Not that they didn't vote a Democrat.  Focus.

The implication here being that you think Trump was a better candidate.  Which I figured you did.

And if I recall, you didn't vote so you voted for Trump so you did your part.  Congratulations.

She won by 3 million votes.  But your candidate won so you should be happy.

Senator Amy Klobuchar is growing on me.  She doesn't have the built-in negatives of Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris in the Old South and the Great Plains.  She's also in the sweet spot age-wise and has the good sense to remain a centrist.  Honorable mention: Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio.  Uncle Joe's time has come and gone, sadly.

yankeefan feel my pain, she's my Congresswoman.  I voted for the Republican for the second or third time.  There is a moron down here named Tim Canova who has failed brutally to beat her.  Please someone come to Florida and beat her, bless you.

I did, Trump ran as a Republican and the American people did not elect a Democrat.

My point was anybody was a better candidate than Clinton and it took somebody really bad to make him look better.  Real smart of her politically to call people "Deplorables". Maybe if she paid more attention to states like Wisconsin and Michigan she may have won. You are wrong, I did vote and never said I did not vote. I am not sure of whether I mentioned who I voted for, I really can't recall. Yes,Hillary Clinton won by 3 million votes but that can be basically wrapped up in one word - California. I believe she won the state by over 4 million votes and I am sure you can fact check me if you want.

Just think about this for a minute or two. Hillary Clinton was FLOTUS. She was two term Senator from NY. She was Secretary Of State and President Obama said she was the most qualified person ever to run for POTUS. She lost to a political rookie who was also a very crude man with lots of baggage. With all of that, do you really think she ran a good campaign.

The question for her is can she break out of the pack since her name recognition is not high in comparison to the other candidates you mentioned. Biden would have been POTUS if he ran in 2016, he would have trounced Trump.

I sometimes wonder how certain people win and she is one of them. She is corrupt with her screwing Sanders which caused her to no longer be the chairperson of the DNC. Did she ever explain why she continued to keep IT staffer who was under federal investigation? Problem in this country is so many districts are set up so one political party will win 90% of the time.

"The question for her [Klobuchar] is can she break out of the pack since her name recognition is not high in comparison to the other candidates you mentioned."

If Klobuchar gets a win before Super Tuesday, then game on.  The Iowa caucus is in her wheel house.  She needs to come out of Nevada with either a win or a respectable second place finish before Super Tuesday.  Nevada is HUGE this time around.

IMHO Klobuchar has the most potential to reassemble the Clinton coalition in the general election, Bill's bloc that is.  He won all the states along the Mississippi river in 92 and came close to repeating that feat in 96, dropping only Indiana and Mississippi.  I also think that Klobuchar will play much better in the South Carolina primary than Warren, as well as give Harris a run for her money.

Unless Sherrod Brown enters the race, this one is all about the women.  Perhaps Corey Booker's in it for a cabinet position, but I digress.  Back to Amy Klobuchar, I'll leave you with the following.

Klobuchar says she will kick off campaign in Wisconsin, alludes to 2016 controversy (thehill.com)

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

If Bernie Sanders somehow gets the party nomination, he'll get my vote in the general election.  But, please let centrist Democrats take back control of their party beforehand.  Who woulda thunk that this great nation would be pulled apart in 2019 by neo-Nazis and neo-Chavistas.
