Following his highly anticipated, sold-out No Better Time Tour that wrapped last week, breakout 25-year-old Texas singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Gossett has announced he will embark on The Back 40 Tour across North America this fall. This time, Gossett will headline in nearly 30 cities across the U.S. and Canada from September through November.

Baroness continue to add new tour dates in support of their latest album, STONE, with the U.S. getting a new round of Summer outings in support of the critically-acclaimed collection. Dale Crover, the seminal Melvins’ drummer who in recent years has also helmed his own outfit, the Dale Crover Band, returns to the road this Summer, announcing a California tour this August. Rita Ora, Marshawn Lynch and Jack O’Connell are set to join Joe Cole in the action thriller He Bled Neon from award-winning music video director Drew Kirsch. Written by Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson (Lowlife, Night Patrol) with a story by Nate Bolotin, the film will be Kirsch’s feature debut. The original story by Nate Bolotin was inspired by his early experiences growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada.   

Jonathan Groff, who is currently playing the role of Franklin Shepard in the Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along, visited TODAY with Hoda and Jenna on Monday. A new version of Flatland Cavalry’s song, “Let It Roll,” is out now featuring special guest Randy Rogers. Produced by Live Nation, the eight city tour kicks off on July 24 at The Egg* in Albany, NY making stops across North America in Toronto, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Montclair, Boston, and Portland (Maine) before wrapping up in Stamford, CT at The Palace Stamford on August 3.

Netflix has just released the trailer for the upcoming documentary Power, which looks at the history of the police force in the United States. The film is directed by Yance Ford, who previously was nominated for an Academy Award for his documentary Strong Island, which chronicled the murder of his brother. Ford co-wrote Power with Ian Olds. Power will be released in theaters on May 10, 2024, before its Netflix debut on May 17, 2024. Watch the trailer here.
