Earlier today, Christian Struppeck announced his cast for the Open Air Concert of ELISABETH, the one Event you better not miss this summer. On july 5th and 6th, the famous historical setting provides a unique and dignified backdrop for the concert version of the musical, which tells the dramatic and moving story of the life, loves and tribulations of Empress Elisabeth of Austria

Pia Douwes will we back in the leading role,, she created the role for the premiere in 1992. Anotherone Veteran will be back on the Musical stage, Viktor Gernot, who played Elisabeths husband, Kaiser Franz-Josef, the emperior of Austria. The both will share the stage with Mark Seibert as The Death, David Jakobs as the murderer Luigi Lucheni, Daniela Ziegler (Archduchess Sophie),Lukas Perman (Archduke Rudolph), Hans Neblung ( Duke Max), Patricia Nessy (Duchess Ludovika/ Madame Wolf). The unique cast will be supported by an all star Ensemble and the huge Vereinigte Bühnen Wien Musical Orchestra.
