THEY ARE BACK!

CATS is coming back to Vienna later this year. The Vereinige Bühnen Wien announced today that they are going to put on a new version of Lord Andrew Llyod Webbers phenomenon.

CATS, once brought to Vienna by Prof. Peter Weck, changed the musical culture in the german speaking area. Prof. Weck was the one with the guts to put on a show with singing and dancing adults in cat costumes. It was worth the risk, despite all the critics, CATS sold out the house for almost seven years. It is time for the next chapter. Vienna is hosting a new version of the original production (more infos about to come) in September at the Ronacher theatre. Let's see, if CATS is still able to bring some magic to audiences these days. Tickets went on sale on January 29. The Jellicle Moon is shining bright this autum in Vienna.
