TADEYS Comes to Teatro Cervantes 4/11 - 6/30

" My body is a story ," the boyer tells his lover, shortly before committing suicide, in the first part of Tadeys , Osvaldo Lamborghini's novel. Written between September and December 1983 in Barcelona, ??the manuscript organized in three numbered folders was not revealed until after his death. Fabula politico-sexual, total novel, lustful and brutal farce, are some of the appellatives that
have been used to account for this unfinished textual body that, in the words of Graciela Montaldo, " is the work of a classic of modernity , not of a rupture or experimental writer but of someone who writes literature when literature reached the peak of its crisis ".
In the version of Albertina Carri and Analía Couceyro,Tadeys continues to be a prose full of sensual and corrosive acrobatics, plus a play, a movie, an opera buffa, and the challenge of approaching a material and an author of extreme personalism. The sinister picture is played here by a deranged scientist and police: the Doctor "the spider" Ky, played by Diego Capusotto, and the Commander "the hyena" Jones, in the body of Javier Lorenzo. The story focuses on the operation of a bullying vessel for violent adolescents. The way to make these insurgent bodies docile is to feminize them. But what is a woman?
Tadeys is also the name of the excluded, herds of subject animals that are the food and the engine of the economy of the kingdom. Perhaps ahead of its time, Lamborghini argues that indoctrination entails the place of subjection of the feminine. But, " The State, was it a man or a woman? At that time, the unambiguous response was "it is hunger for everyone ".
