Joanne McNally Brings WINE TAMER to The Adelaide Fringe

Ireland's brightest new comedian, Joanne McNally hits the stage in Adelaide for the first time, fresh from her sell-out run in Edinburgh, with her hysterical and whipsmart look on life, love and lies we tell ourselves. Joanne is the star and writer of the documentary "Baby Hater", which aired on national television in Ireland and the UK to great critical acclaim. Her debut show 'Bite Me' sold out in Edinburgh and its Irish tour.

Joanne McNally is Ireland's fastest rising comedy star and is now moving into the UK club scene. She has written & presented numerous television documentaries and shows in Ireland as well as starring in a number of theatrical roles. She co-wrote and performed the critically acclaimed Seperated At Birth, which was a theatrical show centred on her adoption. Following on from this, her sell out show Bite Me focussed on her issues with bulimia and mental health. As a comedian, she has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the business including David O'Doherty, Dara O Brien, Stewart Francis, Rich Hall & Jason Byrne. She has performed at all the major Irish festivals including Kilkenny Cat Laughs, the Vodafone Comedy Festival, Body & Soul, Electric Picnic & Longitude and recently at the 3Arena. As an actor, she has had roles in Soft Border Patrol for the BBC (UK), The Commute for RTE (Ireland) and most recently in Sharon Horgan's Women on the Verge for RTE/ UKTV. She is a regular on the airwaves with a weekly slot on 2FM called Mack The Week. Joanne is also a freelance writer and has written for the Irish Times, Irish Independent, Sunday Times and has her own column in the Irish Star newspaper.
