SIX

With many sold out performances and limited availability in the first booking period, the producers of SIX today announce that it is extending to January 5, 2020.

SIX - Studio Album is named Best UK Cast Recording in The Curtain Up Show Album of The Year Awards. SIX The Musical - Studio Cast Recording - which has received over 4 million streams despite its limited 7-week run at the Arts Theatre in 2018 - was announced on The Curtain Up Show this week as Album of the Year - Best UK Cast Recording.

The winners were revealed live on The Curtain Up Show on Resonance FM by presentersTim McArthur and Nathan Matthews, who said: "We both love SIX and are delighted that it's bagged Best UK Cast Recording! Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss have written one of the most exciting new British musicals in a very long time, so what better way to celebrate the show's return to the West End than by awarding it Album of the Year?! SIX showcases some of the best female singers and musicians in the country - long may it reign!"

Dates for the first US production of SIX have been announced at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre from May 14 - June 30, 2019.

SIX is also nominated for SIX Whatsonstage Awards - Best Musical, Best Off West End Production, Best Original Cast Recording, Best Choreography, Best Lighting Design and Best Costume Design.

SIX is short listed for three Off West End Awards - Best New Musical, Best Choreography and Best Costume Design. SIX, the hit musical by recent Cambridge grads Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, features the return of the full, original West End cast who were named the Best Ensemble in a Play or Musical at the 2018 BroadwayWorld Awards:

Jarneia Richard-Noel (Catherine of Aragon) The Color Purple in Concert (Cadogan Hall).

Millie O'Connell (Anne Boleyn) Thoroughly Modern Millie (UK tour) and 42nd Street (was understudy Peggy Sawyer - Theatre Du Chatelet, Paris).

Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour) Sunday in the Park with George (Louise - Menier Chocolate Factory).

Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves) Godiva Rocks (Rosa - Belgrade Theatre).

Aimie Atkinson (Katherine Howard) In The Heights (Daniela - Kings Cross Theatre) and Zorro the Musical (originating the lead role of Luisa - UK tour).

SIX marked the professional debuts of Maiya Quansah-Breed (Catherine Parr) and Grace Mouat (alternate Jane Seymour/Katherine Howard and Dance Captain), who both graduated from Guildford School of Acting last summer.

The cast has been joined by two additional alternates.

Vicki Manser (alternate Anne Boleyn & Anna of Cleves) Bat Out of Hell (West End) and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (2nd Cover Carole - West End).

Courtney Stapleton (alternate Catherine of Aragon & Catherine Parr) Bat Out of Hell (Dance Captain - West End), Les Misérables (Cover Eponine - West End) and Mamma Mia! (Cover Ali - West End).

SIX - the concert-style show with a phenomenal all-female band: the SIX wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales, remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of 21st century girl power. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, these Queens may have green sleeves but their lipstick is rebellious red!
