Nottingham Playhouse will partner with National Theatre Live for the first time to broadcast their new production of The Madness of George III.
The royal-themed drama will be broadcast live from the theatre in Wellington Circus to cinemas across the UK and beyond on Tuesday 20 November, reaching tens of thousands of people. Artistic director at Nottingham Playhouse and director of The Madness of George III Adam Penford said: "This is really exciting news. Nottingham Playhouse has been producing world-class drama for the last seventy years and I'm thrilled that this special production will reach theatre lovers around the globe.
