Show Dates and Detail Released for GREENBRIER VALLEY THEATRE'S YOUTH EDUCATION'S Production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR

Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT) has announced show dates for their Youth Education's production of Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Based on the beloved Lewis Carroll novels The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and drawing inspiration from the 1951 Disney film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, the show features music and lyrics by Sammy Fain and tells the story of Alice, a young girl who ends up on the adventure of a lifetime after following a strange White Rabbit into Wonderland.

The Youth Education production features over 35 children and will run from March 15th - 23rd, 2019 at 7:00 PM each night with a matinee performance on March 24th, 2019 at 2:30 PM. There will also be a Pay-What-You-Can Preview Performance on March 14th, 2019 at 7:00 PM.

Disney's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland is creative, fun and wonderful! I love seeing all of my favorite characters from the books such as the Queen of Hearts, the Dodo Bird and March Hare come to life by our extraordinary young actors," said Courtney Susman, the show's Director.

Featuring songs from the animated classic such as "I'm Late" by the White Rabbit and "Painting the Roses Red" by the Royal Cards, the 75-minute long show will have children and adults singing along throughout.

Tickets start at $11 for children and students, $13 for seniors and $15 for adults and can be purchased through the GVT Box Office. You can contact the Box Office by calling (304) 645-3838 or by visiting www.gvtheatre.org.

The Greenbrier Valley Theatre is located at 1038 Washington Street E, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
