Feature: Actors Guild of Parkersburg's 2018/2019 Season Announced! Tickets Now Available!

The Actors Guild of Parkersburg have released their 2018-2019 season schedule and tickets for all shows are now on sale. Audiences will laugh, cry and sing along as the Actors Guild presents hits such as You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, A Christmas Story: The Musical, Disney's Aladdin Jr., The Game's Afoot or Holmes For the Holidays, Mama Mia!, On Golden Pond and La Cage Aux Folles.

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown: A musical which brings to life Charles Schulz's classic comic series. Featuring all the fan favorite characters, including Lucy, Schroeder, Sally, Linus, Snoopy and Charlie Brown. Performance dates are September 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th, 2018 and October 5th and 6th, 2018 at 8:00 PM. Other performance dates include September 23rd, 2018 at 2:30 PM and September 30th, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online here for $17/$19.
A Christmas Story: The Musical: Based on the fan favorite holiday movie - known for being aired for 24 hours straight every Christmas - and is guaranteed to make your family laugh. The story follows nine-year-old Raphie Parker, a young boy who wants nothing more than a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas, as he attempts to convince his family and Santa that he is old enough to use it. Show dates and times are Friday November 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 2018 and December 7th and 8th, 2018 at 8:00 PM. The show will also be performed on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 at 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at 4:00 PM and Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Aladdin Jr: Disney's hit film classic - and now Broadway show - will be making its way to the Actor's Guild stage in a fun-filled junior version featuring many of the songs fans know and love. Watch as down on his luck Aladdin discovers a magic lamp which he then uses to earn the love of Princess Jasmine. This enduring story of friendship, morality and true love will delight audiences of all ages. Performance dates are January 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th, 2019 at 8:00 PM and January 20th and 26th, 2019 at 2:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online here for $6/$12.
The Game's Afoot (Or Holmes For the Holidays): Broadway actor William Gillette, adored the world over for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, has decided to invite his fellow cast mates over to his posh Connecticut castle for a weekend full of fun. In a tragic turn of events one of the guests are murdered, quickly turning what was supposed to be a weekend of festivities for these friends into a fight for their lives. Performance dates are March 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th, 2019 at 8:00 PM and March 10th, 2019 at 2:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online here for $15/$17.
Mama Mia!: The worldwide sensation set to the hit tunes of ABBA tells the story of a young woman's search for his biological father on a Greek island paradise. Three men from her mother's past arrive on the eve of her daughter's wedding - all returning to the island which they haven't seen in over 20 years - as the mother attempts to figure out which man was the father of her child. Performance dates are April 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th, 2019 and May 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th, 2019 at 8:00 PM. Other performance dates include April 28th, 2019 at 2:30 PM and May 5th, 2019 at 6:00 PM. On Golden Pond: A love story revolving around Norman and Ethel Thayer, a couple married for 48 years, as they return to their summer home on Golden Pond. Norman is growing old and Ethel, ten years younger, spends her time remembering all the small things that have made their life together so wonderful. Performance dates are June 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th, 2019 at 8:00 PM and June 23rd, 2019 at 2:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online here for $15/$17.
La Cage Aux Folles: George, owner of the La Cage Aux Folles nightclub, has been in loving relationship with his partner, Albin, for over twenty years. Albin is also a featured performer in La Cage Aux Folles drag show. Un-married, the happy couple faces their greatest challenge when they have to meet their son's fiancé's parents. Performance dates are July 26th and 27th, 2019 and August 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th, 2019 at 8:00 PM. Other performances include July 28th, 2019 at 2:30 PM and August 4th, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
