Charlotte's Web tells the beloved story of a runt livestock pig, named Wilbur, who desperately wants to avoid being slaughtered by farmers. After being sold to Homer Zuckerman, Wilbur finds himself alone in a farm full of barn animals unwilling to acknowledge his presence. A kind barn spider, named Charlotte, witnesses Wilbur's sadness and befriends him. Upon learning about the farmer's intent to slaughter Wilbur, Charlotte begins writing messages of praise for the pig in her webbings in a desperate attempt at saving Wilbur's life. What follows is a thrilling and heartfelt story which has withstood the test of time, remaining relevant for more than 65 years as new generations of children continue to find their selves enraptured with Wilbur and Charlotte's tale.

The play will be directed by Susan Marrash-Minnerly, a new addition to the CTOC family. Natasha Allen, who previously worked with CTOC on last year's Peter Pan Jr., will be handling Assistant Director duties.
