Live Radio Show Kicks Off DownStage Cabaret Series In Simi Valley

The Sim Valley Cultural Arts Center will kick off their DownStage Cabaret Series with the first installment of the High Street Broadcast on Sunday, August 19 at 7:30 pm in the intimate DownStage Theater. Doors open at 7 pm and the broadcast begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 for General Admission and $25 for VIP Seating which includes a complimentary dessert as well as priority seating. Experience the fun of a live radio show with a retro twist with the High Street Broadcast! Bringing live radio format entertainment to the Ventura County area for more than 10 years, High Street Broadcast's unique presentation captures the spirit of the golden age of radio while adding a modern twist and sense of humor that speaks to today's listening audience. Each "broadcast" recreates a "live" radio show featuring original music, comedy sketches, and an original live radio drama featuring live sound effects. This month's event will feature the suspense filled radio drama THE STACHE! The High Street Broadcast company of players for the August 19 performance include Ryan Neely, Will Shupe, Anna Graves, Scott Gilbert, Liz Stockton, Jen Ridgway with musical direction by Art Gibson.

Tickets are $20 for General Admission and $25 for VIP Seating which includes a complimentary dessert as well as priority seating. All seating will be Cabaret style.
