BWW Preview: BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY at Maximteatern

As written before here on BWW The Swedish opening night of Bridges of Madison County will be the 12th of September at Maximteatern in Stockholm and it will run till the 30th of September. It will then be transferred to Slagthuset in Malmö the 12th of October where closing date is the 27th of October.

The full cast has now been announced and it is an interesting cast with a mix of established musical actors and students. I'm really looking forward to see this production as I never seen it before but enjoyed the film with Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood a lot. I also had the pleasure to hear a few of the songs at some concerts performed by Victoria Tocca and Daniel Sjöberg in the recent year. The rehearsals has started and the opening night is just a few months ahead. The posters are up outside the theatre as well as on various advertising spaces throughout Stockholm.

Francesca Johnson: Victoria Tocca

Viktoria Tocca is educated at the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg and has been told by the American music press to have one of our most beautiful voices. In 2016, Viktoria was nominated for 18 categories at the annual award-winning Indie Music Channel Awards in Los Angeles - of which she won the victory in seven classes, including "The Year of the Year".
