Tesseract Ends Season With Ferguson's SPINNING JENNY The Tesseract Theatre Company will close its fifth season with SPINNING JENNY, a new play written by Kevin D. Ferguson. May 25 - June 3, 2018, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00p, Sundays at 4:00p

When Jenny discovers the world outside of her family's traveling carnival she begins to see there's more to life than a quick con job. Two paths open for Jenny: love or familial greed. Will she defy her family for a new way of life or will she remain another lost soul on the midway?

Who: The production will be directed by Artistic Director and company founder Taylor Gruenloh. The cast of Spinning Jenny will feature Tesseract Theatre Core Ensemble member Darrious Varner. The cast will also feature Rhiannon Skye Creighton, Maurice Walters II, Dorothy LaBounty, and Kevin Corpuz.

Playwright Kevin D. Ferguson is Playwright-in-Residence at Atlantic Stage, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina's only Equity theatre, where his plays Child's Play, Spinning Jenny and A Thing With Feathers premiered. He is also the Resident Dramaturg and Literary Manager at Atlantic Stage, administrating the annual New Voices Playfest there. He is a Teaching Associate in the Theatre Department at Coastal Carolina University.
