With Cape Town cooling down and settling into wet winter, there is nowhere better for tourists to the Mother City as well as Capetonian locals to keep warm and stay fabulous than Gate69. South Africa's premiere cabaret theatre currently sees Cathy Specific and the Trolley Dollies making magic in their latest production, SNIP/TUCKED - a mini medical musical that sees Bree Street's beloved pin-up girls of Aviation take on today's "self-improvement" culture and come out looking even more magnificent than ever.

SNIP/TUCKED sees everyone's favourite flight attendants, Cathy, Holly and Molly, touch down for a day off. When they head to the surgeon rather than the beach, they uncover the ins-and-outs of the multi-billion-dollar plastic surgery in an exuberant blend of comedy, song and dance. Whether they're being pricked, plucked, pulled or prodded, visitors to the Purple Palace are in for a titillating and turbulent treat as the trio embark on this hilarious, yet poignant journey.

Having opened in February and currently booking through 26 May, SNIP/TUCKED has already become a firm favourite with visitors to Gate69. The show's pitch-perfect live singing, exquisite costumes, polished choreography and hysterically funny one-liners are all being praised to the skies on the venue's social media platforms, which can be followed on Facebook and Instagram, with the Trolley Dollies also dishing out tea, shade and pink lemonade on Twitter. Gate69 also holds a 5-star rating on Trip Advisor and is most certainly a must-do experience for any visitor to Cape Town.

While it is the perfect place for anyone to spend on a night on the town, Gate69 is also a superb venue for corporate functions, birthdays and anniversaries, having even hosting its first wedding at the end of March. Nothing is too tall an order for co-owners Brendan van Rhyn, Luanna Shonfeld and Christopher Dudgeon, so book your special date at your earliest convenience.

Tickets for the first-class, world-class Gate69 experience, including performances of SNIP/TUCKED, are available from the official Gate69 website and range in price from R500 - R595, which includes a delicious designer mezze served on a double-tiered Lazy Susan, a separate hot soup and bread service as well as a mouth-watering purple Patron soft serve ice-cream for dessert. The suggested arrival time is 18:30 for a drink in the bar, with dinner at 19:00 and the show at 20:15.
