Merola Opera Program continues its 2022 season with a fully staged production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), giving the public the opportunity to see Merola’s exciting 2022 participants performing full operatic roles, conducted by Kelly Kuo, Associate Director of American Lyric Theatre and Music Director of the Reno Chamber Orchestra.

Featuring songs from the Great American Songbook and from the Broadway stage, Marilyn brought her special brand of energetic positivity to the Manhattan crowd and shows no signs of slowing down!
On Monday, February 21 National Queer Theater in partnership with The Dramatists Guild of America presented Jubilee for a New Vision: A Celebration of Trans and Gender Non-conforming Artists at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space, as part of Carnegie Hall’s citywide 2022 Afrofuturism Festival.

Alan Johnson was truly a man of many talents. On Sunday, October 14th, 2018, friends, all of whom are either dancers, choreographers, directors or actors, or all combined, that have had the honor to work with or befriend him, gathered at The Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA, owned by Joe Malone and Nanci Hammond Malone, two superb dancers/teachers that donated their facility for this event, to honor, reminisce and celebrate Alan's wondrous life and career.
