Celebrating Asian American Heritage Month, Comedian Kate Siahaan-Rigg and Olivia Oguma (Mamma Mia, A Christmas Carol) host Disorientalism in Joes Pub at the Public Theatre. Part 4 of their ongoing show. This is a musical and comedic fun filled show featuring New York’s premier Asian American performers including the hosts themselves. The night was vibrant with everyone in good spirits celebrating this special event!

Broadway in Indianapolis is proud to announce the 2022-2023 Season celebrating the three Indianapolis premieres of Anastasia, Disney’s Aladdin, and Ain’t Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations. Casting has been announced for For The Record and The Wallis’ production of LOVE ACTUALLY LIVE, the multimedia concert celebration of the beloved holiday film from Universal Pictures/Working Title, with performances from Saturday, November 27 to Friday, December 31, 2021, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Broadway and television star Aaron Lazar (Fox’s Filthy Rich, Broadway’s The Last Ship, A Little Night Music, Les Misérables, and The Light in the Piazza) joins the exciting lineup of talented performers alongside singer/songwriter, musician, producer and engineer, Brian McKnight Jr., who comes from a legendary musically gifted family including famed father Brian McKnight. American Idol 4th place finalist on season 4, Anthony Fedorov, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist actor Michael Thomas Grant, and RCA recording artist Nina Nelson, member of girl group Citizen Queen (with over 30 million music video views), also join the cast for the first time. Rounding out the group of newcomers is Cheyenne Wells who starred in the recent production of Little Shop of Horrors at Pasadena Playhouse with MJ Rodriguez.

Following on from a successful Glen Street Theatre season, Noteable Theatre Company (formerly Manly Musical Society) delivers an encore season of it’s 2019 production of LES MISÉRABLES at the larger Chatswood Concourse Theatre.

The Barn Theatre have today released production photos of Rob Houchen (Les Misérables, The Light in the Piazza) and Celinde Schoenmaker (Rocketman, The Phantom of the Opera) in the theatre new revival production of the Stephen Sondheim musical Marry Me A Little.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presented "Broadway is 850 Strong," a benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Michael on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 9:30 pm. The Florida Panhandle was completely devastated by the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Michael. Michael was one of the strongest storms ever to make landfall in the United States. The Panhandle, which is area code 850, took a direct hit. Thousands of people lost their homes, schools and hospitals were destroyed, and area businesses were obliterated.

Kicking off the 2019 theatre calendar in Hong Kong is the feel-good classic that is Mamma Mia! Seen by over 60 million people around the world, the musical premiered in London's West End back in 1999, and is now celebrating its 20th anniversary! With no sign of it slowing down, 2018 saw the launch of its International Tour, and after months on the road, it has finally arrived in Hong Kong, opening on January 16th!

The First National Tour of "Come From Away" opened its Los Angeles engagement on Wednesday, November 28. The Tony Award-winning musical continues through January 6, 2019, at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre.

The musical, based on Victor Hugo's novel, adapted for high school performers, features one of the most memorable scores of all time and some of the most memorable characters to ever grace the stage.  This cast of nearly fifty students, hailing from twelve different schools from the Northshore area of the New Orleans Metropolitan area, is certainly fulfilling expectations.  It is always a challenge to produce a show of this magnitude, but for Director, Brent Goodrich, being able to recruit talent from all over our community has made this production not only possible, but even more sensational.
