A Mermaid's Tale Photos - Off-Broadway

 A three-hour, exclusive experience, the audience will enjoy an elegant feast while witnessing this epic tale in an all-new telling. A favorite of locals and tourists alike, First and South Bar & Restaurant opened in May 2012 and has long presented themed celebrations throughout the year. 

Walnut Street Theatre (WST) continues its 213th season with Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID. Directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by John MacInnis, the production begins previews on November 16, 2021, opens November 24, and continues through January 2, 2022 on the Walnut’s Mainstage.

K'Arts Ballet of Korea will present the American premiere of Song of the Mermaid, a fantasy ballet choreographed by SunHee Kim, running October 20 and 21 at New York City Center. Song of the Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beloved tale "The Little Mermaid," will star Kimin Kim,principal dancer of Mariinsky Ballet, and feature 40 dancers and an original score composed by Hana Ryou

Louis Ellis Productions in conjunction with The Depot Theatre present their production of CARRIE: The Musical. Based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King, CARRIE: The Musical explores the trials and tribulations of high school, however with a unique Stephen King twist to rival any previously seen on the stages of Broadway. The show will have a limited run at The Depot Theatre in Marrickville from July 25th to August 4th.

5-STAR THEATRICALS (formerly Cabrillo Music Theatre) continues its 2017-2018 season with the Thousand Oaks premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Peter Parnell (based on the Victor Hugo Novel and songs from the Disney film), musical direction by Dan Redfeld, choreography by Michelle Elkin and directed by Misti B. Wills. THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME opens on Friday, April 20, 2017 and runs through Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.  

Yes, Beck Center has decided to recycle 'The Little Mermaid,' last year's holiday production so that more children of all ages can follow Ariel, the daughter of King Triton, the master of the sea, in her search for 'a world in which I feel truly realized on my own terms.'

It was a reunion for two of the lead actors from Broadway's On the Town when Tony-nominee Tony Yazbeck visited New Hope, PA to see Clyde Alves at Bucks County Playhouse. Alves plays the role of Tago in the world premiere of The New World , the musical comedy that is getting raves from critics. John Timpane of the Philadelphia Inquirer said With sneaky brilliance, beginning to end, The New World is fresh, funny, and fluid. Jean Brenner of Bucks County Herald said, Mark my words, The New World is headed to Broadway: it's special, it's funny, it's delightfully entertaining.'

A spectacular new production of Disney's The Little Mermaid kicks off at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 for a limited two week run. Featuring the critically acclaimed work of Director Glenn Casale, this beloved tale of a young mermaid's coming-of-age adventure is told like never before. Previously announced casting includes Diana Huey as Ariel and Matthew Kacergis as Prince Eric, with Broadway's Jennifer Allen as Ursula and Steven Blanchard as King Triton. Melvin Abston, Connor Russell and Jamie Torcellini join the cast as Sebastian, Flounder and Scuttle.
