Presented by Theater for the New City, SHAREHOLDER VALUE, a new play by Tom Attea, is now in previews and opens officially on March 30th.

Grammy Award-winner and two-time Emmy nominee Steve Tyrell celebrates his 14th anniversary performing in the Cafe Carlyle's revered holiday slot with an all-new show, Holidays at the Carlyle, November 27-December 31. Holidays at the Carlyle will feature selections from Steve Tyrell's newly expanded Back to Bacharach album, his 2018 #1 album, A Song For You, as well as various favorites from the Great American Songbook including songs he has performed in major motion pictures, and of course, holiday classics.

Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, presents ARCHETYPE, a collection of six new mini-musicals, the culminating production of Prospect's 2016 Musical Theater Lab (the company's 10th lab production). ARCHETYPE will play from July 27 - 31 at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street @ 1st Ave., NYC). Adam Szymkowicz has been carving a niche for himself among our best young crop of comedy writers, describing love affairs of many kinds with an admirable simplicity. His latest work, 'The Why Overhead,' will have its premiere run September 6 to 23, presented by Zootopia Theatre Company at Access Theater, 380 Broadway. The piece imagines what happens in the office while the boss is away. Matthew J. Nichols directs a cast of 12, which includes Susan Louise O'Connor, a Theatre World Award winner for 'Blythe Spirit' on Broadway. Get a first look at the production in the photos below!

Taking Woodstock is coming to select cities on August 14th from Focus Features. The film had a New York City premiere on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at Landmark's Sunshine Cinema on 143 East Houston Street (between Chrystie and Allen Streets). La MaMa e.t.c. proudly presents the World Premiere of The Book of Lambert, written by Tony Award nominated and Obie/Audelco Award winning playwright Leslie Lee. The play, directed by Cyndy A. Marion, features Lucille Lortel and Obie Award winning actor Arthur French, who recently performed on Broadway in Horton Foote's Dividing The Estate. The Book of Lambert runs from February 13th to March 1st, 2009 in a limited engagement at the historic La MaMa e.t.c. as part of their Black History Month celebration. Lambert previews on February 13th and officially opens on February 14th, Valentines Day.

Director, Peter Flynn, returns to the Theatre where he won the prestigious 2008 Carbonell Award for 'Best Director' of Man of La Mancha.
