Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller and Jill Furman, the producers of the 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights, announced the news that Justina Machado has joined the production in the role of 'Daniela' for 8 weeks only from Monday, June 29, through Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street).

SHREK THE MUSICAL is currently playing a pre-Broadway run at Seattle's The 5th Avenue Theatre, August 14 to September 21.to September 21. The musical stars Tony Award® nominee Brian d'Arcy James as Shrek, Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster as Princess Fiona, Tony Award® nominee Christopher Sieber as Lord Farquaad, Chester Gregory II as Donkey, Tony Award® nominee john tartaglia as Pinocchio and Kecia Lewis-Evans as The Dragon.

Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps, the critically acclaimed 2007 Olivier Award-winner for Best New Comedy, will transfer to Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), following its smash hit sold out limited engagement at Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre.

The Producers, after playing its final Broadway performance on April 22nd, held an after-party at Tony's DiNapoli Times Square, and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities!

The Producers played its final performance on Sunday, April 22, 2007, after playing 33 preview performances and 2,502 regular performances at Broadway's St. James Theatre, and BroadwayWorld was there!

On Sunday, April 15th at 9:30 PM, Joseph John Productions and the cast of Mel Brooks' Tony Award-winning Broadway musical The Producers presented their cabaret benefit show: The Big Bang Blowout, to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS

The Las Vegas production of The Producers opened at the Paris Las Vegas on February 9th after beginning previews on January 31st.
