Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on Stage Videos - Broadway

BroadwayWorld has a first look at the production of BEAUTIFUL: THE Carole King MUSICAL in Manila, which runs at Meralco Theatre now through July 7. The show is directed by Bobby Garcia.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, three-time Grammy Award® nominated singersongwriter Vanessa Carlton, will make her Broadway debut this summer as Carole King in the hit musical Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Carlton will begin performances Thursday, June 27 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) for a 10-week run in the Tony®, Olivier®, and Grammy Award-winning smash hit.

Yesterday, rock and roll icon Carole King surprised the audience at Beautiful, by taking the stage of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre as the hit musical celebrates its fifth anniversary on Broadway.

Last night, with just over a week left in Supergirl Melissa Benoist's run in the title role of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, the real life King decided to pay a visit to the show that tells the story of her life. As she has done in the past, King's appearance at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre was a surprise to the cast. 

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Melissa Benoist, who currently steals the screen in the title role of The CW's hit show, 'Supergirl', just made her Broadway debut as Carole King this summer in Broadway's hit, Beautiful-The Carole King Musical. Ms. Benoist just began performances on June 7 and will play a limited run through August 4th, 2018.

Today we celebrate the Broadway anniversary of the hit bio-musical, Beautiful: The Carole King Story, which opened on this day in 2014.

While the Broadway hit BEAUTIFUL celebrates the pop classics of Carole King, there is also strong representation from the songwriting team of Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.

The August 4, 2016 Broadway in Bryant Park show included a performance by the Broadway cast of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROL KING MUSICAL. Cast members for the event included Chilina Kennedy, James Harkness, Douglas Lyons, Alan Wiggins, and Dashawn Young performing the numbers 'Natural Woman,' 'On Broadway,' and 'I Feel The Earth Move.'

Before opening at Broadway's Stephen Sondheim Theatre, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROL KING MUSICAL worked out its kinks at San Francisco's Curran.

Carole King, the American music legend whose life and career is dramatized in the Broadway musical BEAUTIFUL, took the stage on the final day of the 2016 Democratic National Convention to perform her iconic hit song 'You've Got a Friend.'
