Theater fans have only a few weeks left to catch the Off-Broadway sensation Spamilton, as producers announced today the show will play its final performance on January 7, 2018.

According to the New York Times, Gerard Alessandrini's musical parody Spamilton will close Off Broadway on January 7, 2018.

Last night, Tuesday, November 14, the cast and crew of the hit off-Broadway show Spamilton celebrated an impressive 500 performances since opening in July of 2016. Today, the producers of 'Spamilton,' the critically acclaimed parody of 'Hamilton,' will extend its Chicago production for an open-ended run at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted).

SPAMILTON, the critically acclaimed off-Broadway parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's sensation, officially opened on Sunday, March 12 at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago.
