Today's episode features stage and screen star Bill Irwin. 'I grew up in the 1950s with Jackie Gleeson, Art Carney, Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin as my heroes, which of course I only new through this fairly new medium... I came into being right at the cusp of this technology that we live in,' Irwin explained.
Since 1923, EAG's Annual Memorial Service has brought together members of the performing arts community on an afternoon in November to celebrate the lives and work of our colleagues who have passed away in the previous year. The production will be conducted by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature previously announced stars Kelli O'Hara, Bill Irwin, Lauren Worsham, Christopher Fitzgerald - with Jonathan Freeman, Chris Sullivan, and Jeffrey Schecter just joining the lineup - alongside 130 singers of MasterVoices, with Orchestra of St. Luke's.
