Su larga trayectoria en el mundo del cine español la llevó a recibir el Goya de Honor en 2012 por su dilatada carrera. En 2014 fue declarada miembro de honor de la Academia de las Artes Escénicas de España y recibió el Premio Nacional de Teatro el 23 de noviembre de 2016.

Random Access Music (RAM) will present the 2023 Queens New Music Festival.  The 2023 festival, under the Artistic Direction of Thomas Piercy, will present concerts from May 4th to May 7th at the Secret Theatre in Woodside, Queens.

Renowned director David McVicar makes his Met debut, and Gianandrea Noseda conducts a cast that includes Marcelo ?lvarez in his first Met performances of the heroic title role, and three singers who are celebrated interpreters of their parts: Sondra Radvanovsky as Leonora, Dolora Zajick as Azucena, and Dmitri Hvorostovsky as Count di Luna. Kwangchul Youn makes his Met role debut as Ferrando. In later performances, Marco Berti is Manrico; Hasmik Papian is Leonora; Luciana D'Intino is Azucena, ?eljko Lučić is di Luna, and Burak Bilgili is Ferrando, conducted by Riccardo Frizza. Performances run through May 8.
