Black Angels Over Tuskegee 2021

Writer, director, actor Layon Gray will reach a milestone in theatre with his 3000th performance on Saturday March 17, 2018 in his World War II drama Black Angels Over Tuskegee.

Black Angels Over Tuskegee, Layon Gray's acclaimed play is now in its fourth year at the Actors Temple Theater (339 West 47th Street). Based on true events, six men explore their collective struggle with Jim Crow, their intelligence, patriotism, dreams of an inclusive fair society, and brotherhood as they become the first African-American fighter pilots in the U.S. Army Air Forces

BLACK ANGELS OVER TUSKEGEE, Layon Gray's acclaimed play, now in its second year at the Actors Temple Theater (339 West 47th Street), will honor the nation's military personnel for Veteran's Day by offering anyone with Military ID half price tickets this weekend.

The cast of the Off-Broadway hit BLACK ANGELS OVER TUSKEGEE is set to preside over the opening bell at NASDAQ MarketSite Thursday, March 24th at 8:45 am.
