Performing Arts Fort Worth announced today the 2021-2022 lineup for the BNSF Popular Entertainment Series. The lineup features several audience favorites, as well as one-of-a-kind pairings and a new touring production showcasing the impact of music on pop culture.

A sixth production is slated for June '22, and will be announced at TampaRep's annual fundraising event, the FriendRaiser on August 28th.

Previewing at the Apollo Theatre from 16 April 2022 with the opening night on 28 April 2022, Jerusalem will run until 6 August 2022.  There will be over 800 seats at £15 or under each week across the house throughout the run with additional education rates of £25 per student ticket. 

Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced the much-anticipated return of in-person performing arts across their venues: the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Merriam Theater. The State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton, PA, has announced its 2021-2022 Season, the 95th season at the historic venue.  Tickets for the new season will go on sale to State Theatre Members on Monday, August 2nd, and to the general public on Monday, August 9th.

On July 9, 2022, Des Moines Metro Opera will add a new American work to the operatic canon with its world premiere of A Thousand Acres with music by Kristin Kuster and libretto by Mark Campbell. The work is based on Jane Smiley’s 1991 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name and will be a centerpiece of DMMO’s 50th Anniversary Season in 2022.

Shakespeare & Company will launch its 2021 season with a production of Shakespeare's King Lear, featuring acclaimed actor and three-time Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd. Directed by Nicole Ricciardi, King Lear will run July 2 through August 29.
