A brand-new Made at Curve production of the Olivier, Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical KINKY BOOTS The Musical will tour the UK and Ireland from 17 January 2025.

The Old Globe has released first look photos for the American premiere of Ride.m the smash-hit London musical.

BroadwayWorld sat down for an interview with the writers behind the American premiere of Ride at The Old Globe. The musical features book, music, and lyrics by Freya Catrin Smith (London’s Network Theatre’s The Limit, Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s Part A), music and lyrics by Jack Williams (London’s Network Theatre’s The Limit, Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s Part A), and direction by Sarah Meadows (U.K. premiere of Marie Curie, U.K. tour of The Good Enough Mums Club).

Ahead of its release this Friday, artist Leyla McCalla has just dropped the title track from her new album and fifth studio album Sun Without the Heat. Throughout the record's ten tracks, McCalla achieves a balance of heaviness and light with melodies and rhythms derived from various forms of Afro-diasporic music including Afrobeat, Ethiopian modalities, Brazilian Tropicalismo, and American folk and blues. Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of the acclaimed musical TAMMY FAYE.
