The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is thrilled to announce the 2017/2018 Season which includes the Premiere Mainstage Series, The Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series in the Tell Studio Theatre, and the Eichmann Family Series. The season will follow an unprecedented season of record-breaking productions. Next season will continue to welcome returning and new audiences to distinctive high-caliber productions that continue the Fulton tradition of "Engaging Life Through Art."

As arts organizations across Seattle throw their energy into selecting programming for the 2017/18 season, several are joining forces to mount a city-wide Shakespeare festival: Seattle Celebrates Shakespeare. With nearly two dozen festival participants, spring of 2018 promises to be an exciting and vibrant time in the Emerald City, showcasing a world class cultural landscape while celebrating one of history's greatest writers.
Jaap van Zweden Named New Music Director of the New York Philharmonic

New York Philharmonic Chairman Oscar S. Schafer and President Matthew VanBesien today announced that conductor Jaap van Zweden will become the Orchestra's next Music Director, beginning in 2018-19, the Orchestra's 177th season. Mr. van Zweden will serve as Music Director Designate in the 2017-18 season.
