Cape May Stage, a premiere professional not-for-profit Equity theatre, is focused on yet another captivating, record-breaking season. The 2018 season will feature five main stage plays in the intimate Robert Shackleton Playhouse. Roy Steinberg, producing artistic director says, 'We will be using our 30th Anniversary season to look at plays from the past as well as looking to the future with new plays that are launched here at Cape May Stage. This special season will feature favorite actors and former directors from years past as we leap into our next chapter.'

This epic ballet tells the story of the creation of one of the most iconic and enduring pieces of Cantonese music. Set in 1930s China against the backdrop of the Japanese occupation, DRAGON BOAT RACING follows two lovers whose passion for each other is equaled only by their passion for music. It tells the story of how one of the finest and most famous Cantonese compositions became a musical theme that inspired an entire nation.

The Merrick Theatre & Center For the Arts continues its 2017-2018 season with Jason Robert Brown's intimate love story, The Last Five Years, running until January 28. The two-person, song cycle musical tells the story of the romantic relationship between two New Yorkers - Cathy, an aspiring actress, and Jamie, a novelist of the verge of a success - over a five-year period. While Jamie's songs progress chronologically, Cathy's proceed in reverse - thus giving audiences a unique perspective into the growth and ultimate destruction of their relationship.

At the beginning of 1932 in Germany, the political landscape has begun to shift as the Nazis win control of the parliament for the first time. How would the small, seemingly inconsequential, actions that followed change the world of Agnes Eggling and her friends? What came next was more unthinkable than they could have ever imagined. On a beautiful afternoon in St. Thomas Virgin Islands, after a tasty barbeque lunch and shopping, the woman who was my Dream Date disappeared into the crowd of shoppers and tourists, without a trace. The chaperone was alarmed and shocked that we could not find Seneca anywhere. She had been acting a little weird at lunch and she seemed bothered by the itinerary the show had planned for us, which included a boat trip and lunch on St. John the next day. After an hour of waiting and searching, we returned to The Frenchman's Reef.... Without Seneca.
