In January 2017, Utah Opera will present one of the most beloved musical masterpieces of all time, Mitch Leigh's "Man of La Mancha," a tale of the knight errant Don Quixote and his obsessive quest for the impossible dream made famous in Broadway production and on film.
Drury Lane Announces Complete Casting for SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER

Drury Lane Theatre announces complete casting for disco musical Saturday Night Fever, rewritten for the Drury Lane stage, featuring music and lyrics by The Bee Gees, based on the smash-hit Paramount/RSO Film and the story by Nik Cohn, and adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks. This North American version was written by Sean Cercone and David Abbinantiand is helmed by Tony-nominated director and choreographer Dan Knechtges. Saturday Night Fever runs January 19 - March 19, 2017 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The Press Opening is Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. A portion of the opening night tickets sales will be donated to ArtReach, a nonprofit providing access to the arts to underserved communities in the Chicago area.

Utah Opera and Salt Lake magazine partner for the 3rd annual Libretti & Libations, where art influences life - for at least a drink (or two). Talented mixologists from choice Salt Lake City and Park City restaurants curate artisanal cocktails inspired by the season's opera productions. From January 6 to 29, 2017, 10 participating restaurants will offer expertly-crafted libations inspired by Utah Opera's 2016-17 season opening production of "Man of La Mancha" as a way of infusing food and beverage with the experience of opera.
