Hershey Area Playhouse announces an update and its directors for the 2014 season. The theatre was originally scheduled to open the season with the musical The Fantasticks, but due to a national tour now coming through the area at the same, the rights are no longer available. Instead, the Playhouse artistic committee is excited to feature the musical comedy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

On the heels of its successful first season in 2012/13, the Broadway @ NOCCA concert series has already updated the lineup for its second season. Five of New York theater's leading ladies (one of whom is famously a man in disguise) will perform in New Orleans in 2013/14 as the popular series leaps again to NOCCA's Lupin Hall from its original summer home at The Art House in Provincetown, MA. The series is hosted again by Sirius/XM radio star Seth Rudetsky at piano. The 2013 - 2014 Broadway @ NOCCA Season is made possible by the generous support of The New Orleans Hotel Collection and Gambit.

The Bushwick Starr has announced its 2013-14 Season of Programming. The Season begins with its developing work program, the Propeller Project, which this year introduces a new piece by playwright, Kristine Haruna Lee. Main Stage shows feature an exciting line-up of theater artists: the TEAM (Mission Drift, Architecting), David Greenspan (The Myopia), Jennie MaryTai Liu (Soul Leaves Her Body), Daniel Fish and Andrew Dinwiddie (Tom Ryan Thinks He's James Mason Starring in a Movie by Nicholas Ray, Get Mad at Sin!), and William Burke (Furry). And finally, the monthly Starr Reading Series will cultivate new plays in development from some of NYC's most exciting young playwrights.

The 2013-2014 Florida Opera Festival presented by Opera Tampa is certain to exhilarate every opera buff and fascinate any curious opera novice. Composers Bizet and Mozart, among others, will be showcased in a magnificent season of passion, intrigue and magic. The season also features L'amour Toujours, a Popera! Concert and options to attend the 2012 Tony Award-winning Best Revival of a Musical The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess and a concert by international superstar Andrea Bocelli.

Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg have announced initial casting, preview and opening dates for the world premiere production of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, the new Broadway musical adaptation of Woody Allen's and Douglas McGrath's screenplay of the 1994 film.

The producers of the recently crowned 2013 Tony Award winning Best Revival of a Musical PIPPIN are pleased to announce that a new block of tickets have gone on sale and seats are now available for purchase through January 5, 2014. PIPPIN, now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), also took Tony Awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical (Patina Miller), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical (Andrea Martin) and Best Direction of a Musical (Diane Paulus).

According to the Washington Post, Signature Theatre's 2013-14 season will include three world premiere musicals, one world-premiere play, a developmental run of a world-premiere musical, and revivals of Miss Saigon, Gypsy and The Threepenny Opera. Signature's Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer will be directing all four of the new musicals, as well as Miss Saigon.
