The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art will host the public opening for its spring 2022 exhibition The Cultivators: Highlights from the Kinsey African American Art and History Collection on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from noon to 5 PM.

 First Stage will return to live performances this January with a heartwarming production of THE WATSONS GO TO BIRMINGHAM - 1963 at the Marcus Center's Todd Wehr Theater.

Pepperdine University's Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art presents the exhibition The Cultivators: Highlights from the Kinsey African American Art and History Collection, featuring masterful works of art, photographs, rare books, letters, and manuscripts that chronicle the achievements and contributions of African Americans over the last five centuries.

Ruth Wilson will star in Ivo van Hove’s adaptation of Jean Cocteau’s The Human Voice, which he also directs with design by Jan Versweyveld, originally produced by Internationaal Theater Amsterdam. The production opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 22 March, with previews from 17 March, and runs for three weeks only until 9 April.

She Loves You will have its world premiere in March 2022 at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, starring Danish singer and actress Maria Lucia (The Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music on stage and the Danish film dubbing of Disney's Frozen) leading a cast of 24 musical performers. This production with Danish dialogue and English-language songs, will transfer to the Musikhuset in Aarhus before launching a Scandinavian tour of Sweden, Norway and Iceland, with several worldwide productions still in the pipeline.
