Shawnee Mission Park’s “Theatre in the Park,” marks the season with an oddly appropriate July production of “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.” The item up for view and review is a very nice production of Irving Berlin classic songs and the familiar tale based on a 1954 movie of the same name.  There is significantly more Irving Berlin music in the staged musical than in the 1954 film. 

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now celebrating its seventh anniversary in the West End and James Howard, who plays Draco Malfoy, has been with the production since the very beginning. BroadwayWorld spoke with James about his near seven-year-long journey with the hit show since it opened in London in 2016.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced all jazz programming running July 17 through July 30.

Amazon Music Canada released a new Amazon Music Original, a cover of Keith Urban’s “You’ll Think of Me” from Madeline Merlo, a rising country singer-songwriter and the winner of NBC’s reality competition TV series Songland. The cast has been revealed for the film adaptation of the long-running Off-Broadway musical, Frankenstein, by Eric B. Sirota, which has been released and is now available to stream.

Waverley Council has announced the return of the much-loved Bondi Festival, boasting an astonishing arts line-up that’s bolder and better than ever before, with world-class theatre, comedy, cabaret and interactive experiences, from Friday 30th June to Sunday 16th July 2023.
