Today's announcement includes the first track taken from the record, the self-penned “Mama” - featuring Kelly Zutrau - replete with music video directed by Lola's older sister, Jemima Kirke. Jemima spoke of the video saying, “It's a perversion of mine to want to see People in their private moments. I would've loved to have her be defecating on the toilet but decided ravenous eating was just as good, just as grotesquely human. This story is about a character of stature and prestige, whose life is all about appearances, engaging in an act that puts her on the level with everyone else. And then, the relief (and the horror) that comes from that.”

Word for Word and Z Space will stage an immersive production of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's legendary Rime of the Ancient Mariner  with a press night of Saturday September 21 at 8pm running through October 12 (Previews Sept 11-15, 18-20) .   Rime of the Ancient Mariner is to be directed by Jim Cave and Delia MacDougall with a cast that features Nathaniel Andalis, Lucas Brandt, Robert Ernst*, Darryl V. Award-winning choreographers and dancers Camille A. Brown and Juel Lane are the recipients of the second annual Alumni Artpreneur of the Year Awards from their alma mater, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), Chancellor Lindsay Bierman has announced. Graduates of the premier UNCSA School of Dance, Brown ('01) and Lane ('02) will each receive $20,000. Brown's award, for creative enterprise, will sustain her New York-based company, Camille A. Brown and Dancers. Lane's award, for a creative project, will be used to create new choreographic work.

ABC celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with special '25 Days of Christmas' programming starting Dec. 1. The network joins Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior in this fan-favorite TV event. The 'Kickoff to Christmas' begins in late November with perennial holiday treat 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town.' The month of December is filled with special Christmas-themed episodes, the return of 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' and 'The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition,' and timeless animated classics and holiday films. The celebration continues after Christmas with New Year's-themed programming ringing in 2019.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces five NNPN Rolling World Premieres (RWP): Ready Steady Yeti Go by David Jacobi, Ripe Frenzy by Jennifer Barclay, Apples in Winter by Jennifer Fawcett, The Mermaid Hour by David Valdes Greenwood, and Heartland by Gabriel Jason Dean. The five plays will receive a total of 17 NNPN RWP productions, with each play seeing at least three distinct productions in a 12-month period.

American Composers Orchestra (ACO) announces two performances presented by Carnegie Hall in Zankel Hall during the 2018-2019 season. In 2018-2019, under the leadership of Artistic Director Derek Bermel, Music Director George Manahan, and President Edward Yim, ACO continues its commitment to the creation, performance, preservation, and promotion of music by American composers, with programming that reflects the infinite ways American orchestral music illustrates geographic, stylistic, gender, and racial diversity. ACO's concerts at Carnegie Hall include premieres by 2017 Pulitzer Prize-winner Du Yun, by composer and Imani Winds flutist Valerie Coleman, and by Alex Temple, a composer who integrates love for pop culture and the Western classical tradition. Additional 2018-2019 performances and activities will be announced in March 2018.
