Producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd today announced the third slate of presenters for the 89th Oscars® telecast. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the Oscars will air live SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26, on the ABC Television Network.

Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced today that individual tickets for the Atlanta engagement of Roundabout Theatre Company's CABARET will go on sale Sunday, August 28 at 10 a.m.

Former Cabaret star and Broadway favorite Emma Stone picked up a Best Actress Award today at the Venice Film Festival for her performance as Mia, a struggling actress, in the Damien Chapelle-directed film, La La Land, which is the star's latest outing with frequent onscreen partner, Ryan Gosling. The film, which features music by Broadway composing team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, tells the story of a couple facing the challenges and triumphs that life throws at artists trying to make it in Los Angeles. This award bodes well for Stone's chances at an Oscar nomination in the upcoming awards season; previous actors who followed the same trajectory include Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Colin Firth, Cate Blanchett, and Imelda Staunton. 

According to the New York Daily News, Marcus Bellamy, a former Broadway ensemble member of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark and Disney's Tarzan, admitted via two disturbing Facebook posts that he had killed his boyfriend. The first reads, 'Forgive me. I did it because I love you. I love you all. I love you also. He told me love and hate are the same emotion. Forgive me. I know not what I do. I did it for love. For god. On high,' while the second reads 'I am god. I give life and can take it away. So let it be. #therapture'

CULVER CITY, Calif., June 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ In a move signaling an expansion of its output and increased year-round production across multiple platforms, Sony Pictures Animation announced today its slate through 2018 which includes five theatrical features, three television series and one direct-to-video movie.
