Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced a post-performance Beyond the Stage talkback series for Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of the American Repertory Theater production of In the Body of the World, written and performed by Tony Award winner Eve Ensler and directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus.

Today it was announced that RED NOSE DAY, the national fundraising campaign to end child poverty, will return to NBC with a night of special primetime programming on Thursday, May 24, 2018.

Albuquerque-based A Hawk and A Hacksaw are releasing their eighth album Forest Bathing. Basic tracks were recorded in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the band's Sonido Del Norte Studio. While the bulk of the music heard on this record is played by the core duo of Jeremy Barnes and Heather Trost, they do have some incredible guest performances, namely the clarinet virtouso C neyt Sepet i, from Istanbul, Hungarian cimbalom master Unger Bal sz, and closer to home, Chicago trumpeter Sam Johnson, Deerhoof's John Dieterich and Noah Martinez, of the band Lone Pi on. Forest Bathing is being release by Living Music Duplication April 13.

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) will host Stand Up Sonoma, a comedy benefit featuring Joel McHale, Nick Kroll, Nikki Glaser, Kyle Kinane, Chris Porter, and more on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 8 p.m. Proceeds from the once-in-a-lifetime night of comedy relief will go to the Sonoma Pride Fundraiser and King Ridge Foundation, which directly help those in Sonoma County affected by the October wildfires.

Folger Theatre continues its 2017/18 season with The Way of the World, a new comedy freely adapted from the classic play by William Congreve.
