BREAKING THROUGH is told through the eyes of a young, talented singer/songwriter, as she tries to navigate the treacherous shark-filled waters of the music business. She embarks on a compelling journey to find her way back to her authentic self and in the process rediscovers the music that truly makes her alive. BREAKING THROUGH features a score by Emmy award-winning songwriter and producer Cliff Downs ("The Voice," "American Idol,"), and Katie Kahanovitz (Girls Night Out Pop Radio), with a book by Kirsten Guenther (Mrs. Sharp, 2008 Richard Rodgers Award-winner; the upcoming Benny and Joon). BREAKING THROUGH originated as a HOTHOUSE staged reading at The Pasadena Playhouse.

Roundabout has just announced that Emma Stone has extended her acclaimed run as "Sally Bowles" opposite her fellow 2015 Golden Globe nominee Alan Cumming as "Emcee" until February 15, 2015. Cumming will star in the show for the final 12 weeks of the limited engagement. CABARET opened on Broadway on April 24, 2014 and the engagement has been extended twice through March 29, 2015. Producers Scott Landis and Philip Morgaman have confirmed that 4-time Grammy Award winner Renee Fleming will make her Broadway debut this spring in the new comedy Living on Love by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. The production begins performances on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and will open on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Living on Love will play an 18-week engagement through Sunday, August 2, 2015.Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, December 29, 2014.
