The next iteration of 'The Terror' anthology will be set during World War II and center on an uncanny specter that menaces a Japanese-American community from its home in Southern California to the internment camps to the war in the Pacific. Season two of 'The Terror' anthology is co-created and executive produced by Alexander Woo ('True Blood') and Max Borenstein ('Kong: Skull Island,' 'Godzilla'). Woo is also set to serve as showrunner. The next season of 'The Terror' anthology is expected to air on AMC in 2019 with 10 episodes. The series is distributed internationally by AMC Studios and premieres across AMC Global markets as well as in certain Amazon Prime Video territories. 'The Terror' season two is executive produced by Ridley Scott and is an AMC Studios production, produced by Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360.

Winner of the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance, The Crossing, with conductor Donald Nally, today announces its 2018-19 season, titled Aniara. The season-which is centered around exploring mankind's place in the universe, the relationships between humans, navigating through space and life, and the passage of time - features The Crossing's New York Philharmonic and Peak Performances debuts, the world premiere of the choral-theater work Aniara: fragments of time and space; and world premieres by Gavin Bryars, Michael Gordon, Thomas Lloyd, and Toivo Tulev.

3.3 portrays a successful Indigenous dancer, on the brink of an international career, thrown into a holding cell because of his skin colour and torn between two cultures. Ian Wilkes dances the feature role, choreographed and originally created by Indigenous dance legend Michael Leslie who performs with him in this new adaptation. Beyond, is a mesmerising and powerful new dance work performed by Floeur Alder and choreographed by State Living Treasure Chrissie Parrott.

Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group, today will unveil the FOX primetime slate for the 2018-2019 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Programming Presentation at the Beacon Theatre.

Azuka Theatre ends the 2017-2018 season with the world premiere of Mrs. Harrison, by R. Eric Thomas, from May 2 to20, 2018. Mrs.Harrison is the third and final show of the season that celebrated Azuka's commitment to notable Philadelphia playwrights and unique Philadelphia voices. Producing Artistic Director Kevin Glaccum directs this suspenseful dark comedy and drama about two women, one story and their very different memories about their relationship in college. The show runs through May 20, 2018, for a total of 18 performances.  All performances will take place at the Louis Bluver Theatre at The Drake, 302 S. Hicks Street. In Back to the Real the audience enters the post 2016 election world of a brother and sister as they navigate the challenges of racial and sexual identity.  Current themes confronting the characters include anti-LGBTQ sentiment, colorism in the African-American community, and hiding our true identity.

The Syracuse University Department of Drama announced the six plays and musicals that will make up the 2018/2019 season. With an emphasis on contemporary work, the season addresses a variety of current issues and concerns as experienced from intimately personal points of view. The season celebrates stories of consequence, while at the same time investigating and challenging the process, implications and impact of storytelling itself.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon (Daren A.C. 75 years ago T.S. Eliot published Four Quartets, a poetic meditation on time and memory that is widely regarded as his crowning achievement. Now, to celebrate this milestone anniversary, Bard SummerScape 2018 presents the world premiere of Four Quartets, the first authorized dance performance ever to be based on Eliot's modernist masterpiece. A SummerScape commission, the new work is an interdisciplinary collaboration that draws on the talents of three of today's most potent artistic voices. Since making her acclaimed festival debut at SummerScape 2015, Pam Tanowitz has been recognized as "one of the most formally brilliant choreographers around" (New York Times), with honors including a Bessie Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the prestigious 2017 Cage Cunningham Fellowship.

Desert Ensemble Theatre Company (DETC) has announced its 2018-19 season, including the musical revue Double Time as its Eighth Season Opening Gala; For a Reason, a new drama by Palm Springs' acclaimed playwright Tony Padilla; Proof, the winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize in Drama; and Graceland/Asleep on the Wind, a pair of intimate, one-act dramedies.

Qdos Entertainment today (27 April 2018) announces that they will return to the West End for a third year with Snow White at the London Palladium for a strictly limited 5 week run. Performances will begin at the iconic pantomime venue on Saturday 8 December 2018 running until Sunday 13 January 2019. Directed by Michael Harrison, public booking opens on Friday 4 May 2018.

Artistic Director of Northampton's Royal & Derngate, James Dacre today announced that Royal & Derngate's commission of Kazuo Ishiguro's The Remains of the Day, adapted by Barney Norris, will receive its world premiere in Northampton in February 2019 before a national Out of Joint tour.

The Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Programs end their 2017-18 season with two plays in rep, Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl, and Prowess by Ike Holter. Eurydice, directed by Addie Gorlin ('19), tackles grief and growing up through the lens of the reimagined Greek myth, and will be performed May 4-19, 2018. Prowess, directed by Ken-Matt Martin ('19) explores accountability in a world of vigilante justice, and can be seen May 5-20, 2018. Lipscomb University Theatre has only just announced its 2018-19 season and Beki Baker, chair of the Lipscomb University theatre department, says student response already has shown “an overwhelming amount of excitement.”

National Geographic taps two-time Emmy award-winning actor Bradley Whitford ('Get Out,' 'The Post,' 'The West Wing'), Steve Zahn ('War of the Planet of the Apes,' ABC's 'The Crossing') and Lamorne Morris ('Game Night,' 'New Girl') to star in six-part limited series, Valley of the Boom. From STXtv, the television division of Robert Simonds' STX Entertainment, along with creator, showrunner, director and executive producer Matthew Carnahan (Showtime's 'House of Lies') and executive producer Arianna Huffington, Valley of the Boom will begin filming March 26 in Vancouver, Canada.

Animus Theatre Company (Jonathan Judge-Russo, Founding Artistic Director), an artist-driven company whose mission is to explore and illuminate the resilience of the human spirit, is thrilled to announce that its 2018-2019 programming will kick-off this April with the New York premiere of Surfer Girl by acclaimed screen & playwright Leslye Headland (Assistance, Bachelorette). California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) continues its partnership with the Sierra Madre Playhouse as the school's Acting Conservatory students head back to the theater for "The Importance of Being Earnest," their third play of the school year (previously "The Yellow Boat" and "Elephant's Graveyard"). Together with a cast of students from grades nine through 11, the Victorian-inspired set and costuming takes the audience back to turn of the 19th century. This lighthearted play, written by Oscar Wilde, is a classic satirical dramedy that highlights the humor found in an unlikely, outrageous situation.
