Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, Tribeca Productions, and Evamere Entertainment announced today that the Original Broadway Cast Album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE will be released by Ghostlight Records, beginning March 24, 2017.

The Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC's LGBT themed production of the classic musical 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying' will premiere at the Lincoln Theatre in DC on March 10, 11 & 12, 2017 at located at 1215 U Street NW. This is the first LGBT production of 'How To Succeed' to date. Famous songs like 'I Believe in You,' 'Happy to Keep His Dinner Warm' and 'Brotherhood of Man.' all appear in their original composition, just with a little more glitter! How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying tells the story of J. Pierrepont Finch and his rise to the top of the corporate ladder with the aid of a simple self-help book. Along the way, he learns how to find your name on the executive door and win the secretary's heart quicker than you can say "nepotism." The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) announced today the initial lineup for 2017 NYMF. La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for its 2017 Performance Outreach Program (POP) Tour production, #SuperShinySara, by Wesley Middleton, and helmed by acclaimed San Diego director and Moxie Theatre Artistic Director Delicia Turner Sonnenberg (Counterweight, Without Walls Festival 2013). Most actors receive a standard show contract for around 12 months, but that doesn't mean every actor hangs up their shoes and immediately walks into another show. In fact, not only do some actors extend their contracts, but some make an entire career out of an individual credit. Rob Ouellette, who is currently playing pianist Oscar and a member of the tap-dancing ensemble of the 42nd STREET national tour is about to shuffle into his 1,000th performance with the show on February 16th, 2017, so we caught up with him about his experience. Not only has Rob danced his way through six different companies of the musical, but he's performed several variations of the show's choreography, has worked three times with original book writer and director Mark Bramble, as well as with choreography icons Randy Skinner, Kelli Barclay, and Rick Conant, among others.

The annual KLEBAN PRIZE FOR MUSICAL THEATRE presentation took place just yesterday, February 6 at ASCAP.  Some of Broadway's legendary musical theatre creators and young-up-and-comers will come out to honor the two prize winners, perform some of their material, and present their prizes at a food and drink reception hosted by ASCAP and BMI.
