THE WALWORTH FARCE was written by Enda Walsh, one of Ireland's hottest young playwrights, and is a commission of the renowned Druid Theater Company. One of the most innovative and thrilling playwrights of his generation and Edinburgh Fringe First Winner (2007 and 2008), Enda Walsh is internationally celebrated for his exhilarating wordplay and the visceral power of his stories. His newest play The New Electric Ballroom, also presented by Druid, has enjoyed similar global success and is on tour this autumn in Ireland and the US.

With Matthew Modine playing a role he is unequivocally perfect for (a fictionalized version of himself), one can imagine the casting challenge for the rest of the characters in the Geffen Playhouse's upcoming production of Matthew Modine Saves the Alpacas.
